internet options &gt; security tab &gt; custom level &gt; browse down for active x controls and plug ins, click enable for the following settings, or prompt will do.<br>click OK &gt; apply &gt; OK<\/li><li>Reload the web page: (http:\/\/192.168.xxx.xxx) your DVR IP address<\/li><li>Click install webvideo.cab, wait until the web page appears.<\/li><li>If asked with username and password, use these default values<br>&nbsp; username: 88888888<br>&nbsp; password: 88888888<\/li><li>You can now navigate to the CCTV Main window.<\/li><li>Click OPEN all to view all cameras<\/li><li>Click log out to exit.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Remote_PC_connection\"><\/span>Remote PC connection<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To view Cantonk CCTV network from a remote desktop computer, follow the procedure above but you must change the IP address into public IP. You can find the existing public IP address via ISP inquiry or go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whatismyip.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.whatismyip.com<\/a> using a local PC in the DVR server connected network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Replace the IP address with a public one eg. http:\/\/xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx this is the current public IP address for your internet connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Smartphone_access\"><\/span>Smartphone access<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To view CCTV via mobile, for example iPhone, iPad, and Android devices please find <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.zxAndroidV2&amp;feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS56eEFuZHJvaWRWMiJd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">zMEye<\/a> application in the Appstore or Google Play.<br>Install the app, run it and find for setting icon, to add a new CCTV DVR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use values below&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Local_Viewing\"><\/span>Local Viewing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Device Name: cctv local (any preferred name)<br>Address: 192.168.xxx.xxx (local IP Address of the DVR)<br>Mobile Port: 3357<br>Username: 88888888<br>Password: 88888888<br>Max channel: x (number of supported channels of your DVR)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Remote_Viewing\"><\/span>Remote Viewing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Device Name: cctv remote (any preferred name)<br>Address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (Public or External IP Address of your Modem or Router)<br>Mobile port:3357<br>Username:88888888<br>Password:88888888<br>Max channel: x (number of supported channels of your DVR)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click Play icon to start viewing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Summary\"><\/span>Summary<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Remote viewing will work only if you have properly <a href=\"https:\/\/tracker57.com\/cctv-guides\/connect-cctv-phone\/\">configured port forward<\/a> settings on your router, otherwise you need to plug in the DVR directly on your Router or modem to work. But this direct connection means you have to input the Static Public IP address, Subnet Mask and Gateway on your DVR.
